Most cookie notices are long because the site has a lot to declare. Ours is short for the opposite reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no embedded video, no social widgets and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. Under regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, storing or accessing information on someone device needs consent unless it is strictly necessary. The simplest way to comply is to not do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and diagnostics. These are held briefly and are not combined with anything else or used to profile visitors. Logs are not cookies and do not require consent, but you should know they exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to a Google server that reveals your IP address. Google states that it does not set cookies for font requests. If you would rather that request did not happen, a content blocker will stop it and the site will fall back to fonts already on your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If we ever add analytics, it will be behind a genuine opt-in: nothing loads until you choose it, refusing will be as easy as accepting, and this page will list every cookie with its purpose and lifetime before any of it goes live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any such notice will not use a pre-ticked box, will not treat continued scrolling as agreement, and will not make refusal harder than acceptance. Those three patterns are the ones the ICO has been clearest about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site. On this one it will make no difference, but the controls are in your browser privacy settings if you want them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
